Welcome reception
18.30 - 20.30, Saturday - 6 July 2013
We plan to hold a
welcome reception on Saturday evening at 18.30 at the conference venue. This will be a 2 hour programme with finger fod snacks and drinks in the 13th century Dominican courtyard of Budapest Hilton (venue).
The programme is included in the registration fee.
Conference dinner
17.30 - 22.00, Monday - 8 July 2013
The official banquet of CC2013 will be held in the Lázár Equestrian Park, Domony Valley, about 30 km to Budapest. The price includes all transfer costs. Programme:Guests will be offered biscuits, pálinka (Hungarian brandy) and soft drink after arrival.
After that the
equestrian show will start:
- Four-hand driving, pony carriage driving
- Nomad horsemanship show - shooting arrows from horseback at stationary and flying targets, show of nomad weaponry, jumping over a fire
- Range men's stunts: Making the horse lie down and "sit"
- Whip snapping , range men's competition,
- Fun competitions with the involvement of the guests:Â Knocking down bottle using a whip,
- Wagon drawn by four oxen
- Humorous show with trained donkey
- Hungarian Post with five horses
- Queen Elisabeth's (Sisi's) equestrian show in contemporary attire, riding on a side-saddle
After the Equestrian Show a typical Hungarian menu will be served in the Csárda. Folklore dance and gipsy music will also entertain our guest.

Walking tour in the Castle district
09.00 - 14.00, Tuesday- 9 July 2013
Half day sightseeing tour with lunch The main attraction of the sightseeing will be the visit of the
Hospital in the rock museum. Beneath the Buda Castle District lie approximately 10 kilometres of interconnected caves, cellars and meandering tunnels, which the inhabitants have continuously used, expanded and rebuilt. You will visit this very special museum, which was the best exhibition of the year. We invite you to a historical time journey to a gruesome but still human and informative period of the twentieth century. During the tour you will be able to have a pleasant walk in the castle area. Among several famous sights, the following places will be visited: Buda Castle, Fisherman's Bastion, Matthias Church.
Lunch will be served in
Fortuna Restaurant, located just opposite the Hilton.
